1) Dublin Arabic Film Festival at the IFI

Director Jim Sheridan is back for a second year with the Dublin Arabic Film Festival. This time around he has teamed up with the IFI to showcase a wide range of talent. Here is what Jim has to say about the festival;
We are proud of this year’s programme, which features five films chosen to reflect the diversity of the lands they come from. We open with The Prophet, a wonderfully animated version of Kahlil Gibran’s classic fable written and directed by Roger Allers (The Lion King), featuring the voices of Salma Hayak and Liam Neeson, and music from Glen Hansard and Damien Rice.
Our closing film, The Idol, is one of the most anticipated of the year as it is the latest from the
acclaimed Palestinian director of both Paradise Lost and last year’s stunning Omar, Hany Abu-Assad

2) Zoolander 2 Posters

These hit the catwalk this week.
Not really, but the posters are pretty funny. It’s pencilled for a Feburary 12th release date and has a solid cast containing Benedict Cumberbatch and Kristen Wiig, with Owen Wilson and Ben Stiller reprising their roles from the original.
3) Irish Film Festival London

The 5th Irish Film Festival London is taking place in, you’ve guessed it, London from the 18th to the 22nd of November. It takes place over seven venues across the city and also feature a number of director and cast Q&As. The line-up is pretty solid with an exclusive screening of Room with a Q&A from director Lenny Abrahamson. The festival also has a documentary called No Country For Old Men which explores the unknown life of W.B. Yeats.

Shrek meets Avatar meets Lord of The Rings. Yawn, but presumably the legion of gaming fans will flock to see it next June.
